VTT and Sund Energy won contracts for CCS studies
VTT and Sund Energy won contracts with the Top-level Research Initiative to conduct Nordic studies on CCS.
CCS potentials in the Nordic Region
Finnish VTT was chosen as a contractor for the study "CCS potentials in the Nordic Region".
CCS and renewable energy
Norwegian Sund Energy will deliver the study "CCS and renewable energy".
These activities take place in the frames of the Top-level Research
Initiative, in the sub-programme CO2 Capture and Storage.
The aim of these studies is to gather an overview of CCS potentials in
the Nordic countries and to point out cooperation possibilities.
The results of the studies will serve as a background for the development of a call, which will be published in the end off 2010.
The main findings of the studies will be presented at the Nordic CCS workshop in Copenhagen in the beginning of June 2010.
